    In Steam Cleaning Sydney's own words: If your property manager notes any carpet blemishes, pet hair, or room dissatisfaction during your final exit report within 72 hours of service, our team returns and re-cleans the flagged areas free of charge.

  2. A proper tax invoice

    Agents ask for proof that the carpets were professionally cleaned. You get a formal, itemised tax invoice to hand over with the keys.

  3. Kitchen, bathroom and carpets in one visit

    Ovens, cooktops, rangehood filters, bathrooms and steam cleaned carpets, booked as one job. The cooktop in the slider above is one of theirs.

How a carpet clean runs

Five steps. No shortcuts.

Vacuum and check the fibre

Dry soil comes out first. The carpet type (nylon, wool, polyester) decides the heat and pressure used.

Pre-treat the stains

Coffee, wine, grease and pet marks are treated before the main clean. This is included, not an extra.

Hot water extraction

Hot water goes in under pressure and comes straight back out with the dissolved dirt. This is what people mean by steam cleaning.

Rinse and deodorise

A neutralising rinse so no soapy residue is left to attract new dirt. Sanitising and deodorising are included.

Groom the pile and let it dry

The pile is stood back up so air moves through it. Most carpets are dry in 2 to 4 hours, faster with a fan or an open window.

How long until I can walk on the carpet?

Most carpets are dry within 2 to 4 hours. The extraction pulls most of the water back out, so the carpet is left lightly damp, not soaked. A ceiling fan or an open window speeds it up.

Is it really $129 for three rooms?

That is the published special for three rooms of carpet, with stain pre-treatment, sanitising and deodorising included. Very large rooms, stairs and heavy soiling can change the price, and you are told the figure before any work starts.

What is the difference between steam cleaning and dry cleaning a carpet?

Steam cleaning is hot water extraction: hot water is pushed into the pile and vacuumed straight back out, taking the soil with it. Dry cleaning works on the surface of the fibres. For traffic lanes, spills and pet marks, extraction reaches further down.

Will my agent accept it for the bond?

You get a formal tax invoice to give your property manager. If they flag a carpet or cleaning issue on the exit report within 72 hours of the service, the team comes back and re-cleans the flagged areas free of charge.

No cleaner controls what an agent decides, so read that as a free re-clean promise, not as a promise about your bond.

Can you get a specific stain out?

Often, but not always: it depends on what the stain is, how long it has been there and what the fibre is. Describe it or send a photo when we call and you will get an honest answer before you book.
